Our Mission Statement
A Night of Jones is an evening of four original short plays by Oliver Jones that explore the strange, hilarious, and sometimes heartbreaking corners of the human experience. From the sterile walls of a psychological experiment to the chaos of a dysfunctional Thanksgiving dinner, these fast-paced stories move between absurd comedy and quiet emotion. Along the way, audiences will meet desperate lovers, unlikely dreamers, and people pushed to their breaking point in moments both ridiculous and deeply human.
Featuring Under Observation, The Leap, Jello Mold Bomb and Soul Tied the night blends dark humor, unexpected twists, and raw honesty. Each play stands on its own, but together they create a theatrical roller coaster that asks how far people will go for love, freedom, connection, and survival.
Bold, funny, and occasionally shocking, A Night of Jones invites audiences into a world where the ordinary can turn bizarre in an instant, and where laughter and heartbreak often share the same stage.

“Sixteen Candles at Breakfast” is a sweet, chaotic, heart‑melting mash‑up where forgotten birthdays collide with Saturday detention. Six teens, one cafeteria table, and a whole lot of unexpected honesty — proving that sometimes the people you never planned to meet end up changing everything.
Season Announcment
Pahrump Theatre Company is proud to announce our bold 2025–2026 season, a lineup that blends classic theatre, reimagined works, and immersive community experiences. We’re kicking things off in September with The Vaudevilles, a lively collection of Chekhov’s short comic plays, setting the tone for a season full of variety and surprise. October brings Six Nights at Sally’s, our Five Nights at Freddy’s-inspired haunted house, transforming Calvada Theater into a spine-tingling world of animatronic terror just in time for Halloween.
In December, we present Tiny Tim’s Christmas Carol, a Pahrump-inspired retelling of Dickens’ holiday classic that shines a spotlight on community and compassion. Spring bursts onto the stage with Godspin, a new take on Godspell that layers hymns over hip hop beats, blending tradition and innovation in unexpected ways. February heats up with R.U.R.—a Tesla-inspired revival of the sci-fi classic that introduced the word “robot” to the world, exploring the balance between technology and humanity.
We close the season with Shakespeare’s Macbeth in May, reimagined in the Star Wars universe with a daring, cinematic flair that pulls the audience deep into its world of ambition, betrayal, and destiny. This season embodies our mission to bring fresh, accessible, and thought-provoking theatre to the heart of Pahrump. With something for everyone—comedy, scares, music, science fiction, and timeless tragedy—it’s a season you won’t want to miss.
